We will be following the State and CDC guidelines for shelter operations in Massachusetts. All guests and volunteers will be screened each time they come in to ensure the safest possible environment for both guests and volunteers.
We have a rigorous cleaning policy in place to ensure the facility is properly cleaned and disinfected daily. This includes daily electrostatic deep cleaning.
We will follow the State and CDC guidelines for masks in homeless shelters. (conditions change time to time).
All guests and volunteers will be required to sign a waiver releasing Solomons Porch Church / Timao Center from any and all liability including transmitting the Coronavirus etc.
Guests will be screened in a separate area of the facility every day prior to being allowed access into the shelter area. Should a guest have symptoms they will be isolated and sent to the hospital for testing.
All guests will be tested, or must produce a negative test within 3 days, prior to being allowed entry into our program. All guests will be required to have a monthly test and be subject to testing should another guest from the shelter contract the virus.
